One point that Pedro seems to have missed. Tzolis is 1.79m tall whereas Trossard was quite a bit

shorter at 1.72m

There is also no significant difference in pace between Tsolis and Saka. Yes Martinelli is quicker,

but there is some criticism directed at him about his final pass. So perhaps control is a more

important consideration.

My view is that Arsenal should keep Martinelli if we are not able to buy a superior left winger.

Frankly there are only perhaps four players currently available who might fit that description.

Also I don't want to see Martinellli sold for £40 million especially when I see a player like Rogers

sold for almost three times that figure.

He has a similar pedigree in the global market as well as being home grown.

I don't get the fuzz about Alvarez

Definitely not Mbappe or Vini jr

He would be a rubbish signing for us.

Why is the stuff about the Bruno bid all future tense “Arsenal to make bid of £70m for Bruno”. Why not make the bid first and then leak the news, if you’re determined to leak it.

Really annoying isn't it. We have the money. Just make the bid and see where you stand.

I like this signing. I think it's smart and the sort of signing we should be making more often.

Pretty good thought process and articulation when English is not mother tongue

Julian Alvarez is Arsenal's dream target, but the player's current desire to join Barcelona and the cost - which could exceed the British record fee of £125m set when Alexander Isak moved from Newcastle to Liverpool - pose obvious difficulties.

Arteta's dream target, let's be clear

Just go join Barca!

I love the idea of a direct swap: Alvarez for Gyokeres (55 million pound player) + Martinelli (70 million pound player)

Arsenal to make £70million offer for Newcastle captain Bruno Guimaraes. Brazil international viewed as a key midfield target but #AFC unwilling to overpay in inflated market.

(after Hand of Arsenal btw)

NUFC sources indicating Bruno Guimaraes sale at fee of around £70m a “non-starter”.

Stance remains the same, Newcastle do not want to sell.

Bruno expected to report back for La Manga training camp.

Looks like Arsenal will have to come up with something sensational for Newcastle to even think about it.

£75m seals the deal.

Arsenal released statement about how pleased they are to sign Tzolis today but only include Berta quotes, none from Arteta, I wonder if there friction between the two.

I don't need much to notice he's a sharp lad. Nothing like the painfully slow Gyokeres.

I'm excited to see what he can do in our shirt. He's joining as a wild card but might leave as a cult hero or why not, a legend.
