Poor Vini. One year left on his contract and he even had non-surgical chin harmonization procedure done to make him more attractive for the Real Madrid president who once famously didn't want to sign Ronaldinho, saying "He's so ugly that he'd sink you as a brand". Instead he signed Beckham.
We've come a LONG way baby. Now the world's biggest and greediest player agents look to us to create leverage in contract talks with the big boys. Vini is represented by the global talent agency Roc Nation Sports. They'll soon advise him to take a trip to London and walk about Heathrow so that he is seen so as to further trigger rumours. Real Madrid will leak information that they are actively scouting cheaper replacement targets to lower the agent's leverage. Only way we get Vini is if Mourinho opens his stupid mouth and says something derogatory about Vini that poison's their relationship irreparably. Maybe he doesn't want the drama Queen on his squad.
I’m curious to see Barcola at pool- they would have some weapon of a left hand side, with Isak and wirtz already left leaning but then they’d have frimpong on Right. Feels like a galictico signing when they probably need a Ben white/tomiaso summer.
Bradley Barcola wants to join Liverpool and there’s no doubt on that, as reported since May.
LFC project is his priority - but any financial agreement is yet to be approved, done or sealed. Seen as natural step but at the right time.
Talks will take place in the next days on player side.

Funny I haven't heard a single soul say how they don't want Barcola cause his priority is Liverpool (a rival team btw), but so many have said they don't want Alvarez cause his priority is Barcelona (not a rival team and also a bigger club than us). Maybe posting this will make people aware of it.
Probably because we're linked to Vinicius Jr and the Barcola price is insane and you don't have someone making an argument that he wants to join us too like what you were saying.
None of it was known a week ago and I would still hear people say they want Barcola regardless of his Liverpool preference - something we should personally feel aggrieved by cause he's picking a rival team from the same league.
But Julian and his Barca preference... The scenes.
Funny how all the links we're seeing we've yet to see anything addressing the biggest need coming out of last season which was creativity. My guess is we're probably going to keep Odegaard now that Rogers is off the table
Bradley Barcola has reached an agreement in principle to join Liverpool.
The Frenchman, whose contract with PSG in 2028, recently spoke with Andoni Iraola.

Paris Saint-Germain have put a valuation of at least €170million on forward Bradley Barcola citing the Roger's and Elliot Anderson deals and the players age.

There's no way they get baited into spending £145m for PSG's bench option. Surely.
All 4 transfer targets (Vinicius, Alvarez, Guimaraes and Ramon) are obviously difficult deals to pull off and will cost money.
However, you want to salute the courage of standing up to be named amongst the big dogs again. It's where we deserve to be after 2 decades of wilderness.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and watch as things unfold. Best wishes to our Arsenal
Konsa is a decent defender but not worth the outlay that Villa will (probably rightly) demand. I’ve seen nothing to suggest he is better than Mosquera and suspect the reverse is true. Mossie needs some proper game time to move on to the next level and we shouldn’t shy away from that. Just get Stones (offer him a loaded towards pay to play contract) as a back up for a couple of years. Salmon will be developing rapidly as a CB in that time as will Upson and maybe Dixon. Impact on transfer budget = negligible
The Vini stuff is nice dopamine. But we have to have the backup target in mind when we try to get him. We have like a 1% chance of getting him. So need to have our house in order. We need to learn the situation soon and pivot if it can't be done/
And Pedro, the fact that you think Vini is going to cost 100m is hilarious. One year left doesn't matter for superstar players. Madrid paid 100m for a year left Hazard. It will be north of 130m minimum. And I am okay with that price if we get him because he is world class even though I am not a fan of his personality.
I am not happy with these CB links. We were going to replace white this summer anyway. Just move him back to a CB role that can give us good build up that we are trying to get and get a good RB. Then it is easy to let go of White when it is time in January or the summer when Saliba is back fit.
Image rights appears a sticky point in Vini's negotiations, which shouldn't be a problem here, as we reportedly give 100% of it to the players eg Saka.
Apparently, that could be worth more than Vini's wages omg!
Since his arrival at the Bernabeu in 2018, Vinicius Junior has signed lucrative contract agreements with brands including Gatorade, Pepsi, Prada, PlayStation, UNESCO, Visa and Nike. He is also sponsored by Boss, Clear, Omo, Rexona, Betnacional, Dubai Tourism, Havaianas, Vivo and Marriot Bonvoy – taking his commercial empire to 16 companies.
Every penny Vinicius Junior earns commercially is split in half and shared with Real Madrid, making him one of the largest goldmines in world football.
As the Spanish newspaper jokes, Vinicius Junior is effectively paying his own salary at the Bernabeu, at least until a new agreement is struck between the club and player.

Brother is pretty much paying his own salary and Real Madrid when you weight it up, they are paying him (close to) nothing. His fame and success goes hand in hand with Real's fame and success. It's a symbiotic relationship but he, understandably, wants more than the 50/50.
Florentino is known for being stubborn and once he decides something, it's over.
It’s a high risk strategy for Arsenal. To wait on if a big player is going to leave one of the biggest clubs in the world. We have not made a big signing this summer. Our attack stinks. We couldn’t win big games last season because we don’t have a match winner. Even against lesser teams it was haram ball. The transfer strategy seems to be….we don’t have one. If we wanted Rogers we should have had the deal done before the World Cup. Season starts in 3 weeks time. No one can BS me that having players join at the last minute is good planning. Shambles.

Iraola did wonders with Bournemouth squad. Pretty sure he can do wonders with aging Van Dijk, Quansah and Kerkez.

If spurs give 70mill for Gakpo now my head will explode.

Stone joining Inter, being reported
This is all very Suarez for me, we are being pawned around in a different negotiation. This ain't happening.

rotate White and Mosquera betw RW & CB, depending on the opposition
Playing CB does less sprinting might help White playing a longer stretch
Close out a game with salmon too, when in a winning position

This is it really. Real insist on 50% of his image rights and he's got a lot of endorsements
The Saliba stop gap Cb must not eat into the budget, unless KSE will top it up!
100% no to konsa ; not very good, and expensive! Opportunity should first go to Mosquera, backed up by the incoming...
Vini jr is a 20/80 market opportunity... so fans& supporters w/w could get excited, and entertained, for a little while lol
IF that happens……
Very much okay with the CB from Como and Sociedad being linked. Far more upside than Stones or Konsa. Still need another RB though
Airwave by Rank 1 for all the Trance lovers out there. It's summer after all...
We ain’t signing Vini. It’s a double bluff for him to get a better contract out of Madrid.
Reportedly RM would try again this week when Vini's back from holiday, and it'd be resolved one way or Arsenal 🤔
Of course it is but if RM won't play ball financially, he will leave.
