It’s quite interesting getting to a certain age and watching trends come and go, and watching generational counterpoints. I’ve been reading for years about how football clubs need to move with a generation of fans who support players, not clubs. Connect with fans who want to watch bite-sized content because they can’t handle long-form games. Watching clubs try to adapt to fans who don’t want to be in stadiums. It’s all been quite sad. Even in the world of content, the written word was written off, and we were fed the idea that rage content was going to dominate forever.
