I love what Arsenal are doing. There's no way I pay over a £100m for Morgan Rogers. There are many players who can be if better use than Rogers there's no need to worry. Chelsea have become famous for spending recklessly probably to hurt Arsenal but it's not worked well for them .
Arsenal are in a very stable position right now and ut won't make sense to start spending based on enotion or just to ward off an opponent.
Better days are ahead for Arsenal. No regrets whatsoever.

We can criticize the club on being scattergun in their approach, at least from what we know. It's Berta's MO. It's how he does things and only now people are starting to see his approach could be beneficial but it's also a double edged sword. Players don't feel the personal touch, they don't trust him, they believe he's taking them for a ride but might drop them at any given moment cause he's working many players at the same time. It's not ideal and probably not what I want to see at my favorite football club.
Madueke is exactly what everyone thought he would be. Not a chance he should be ahead of Nwaneri. Very disappointing. £55M! They always see us coming. Scott is a great player already and brings a really similar skill set to Bernardo Silva. He is also at an age where he has so much space to grow further - and I now think if they’re both going to be similar prices, I’d go for Alex Scott.

That makes me excited about the club holding firm on their valuation of someone, so they can maybe afford another. Like, are we moving Myles or Ethan to get two midfielders? Are we swapping Gyok and Julian? Are we with a real shot of landing Vini Jr? I can't wait but I hope the club has a solid plan and I would like to see us ambitious to reach that next level and get closer to PSG and Europe's elite.

With fitness issues potentially limiting a good start, I would rather Arsenal take decisions that benefit the club longterm.
First, Im not unhappy about Rogers because I believe he's a better fit playing through the middle. Playing from the left would have slowed our game further. It's best we go for a quick winger that's guaranteed to do damage from the left wing.
Nico Williams is still a great option despite his injury issues. Some players overcome it. It stopped us from going for Pedro Neto and the guy's been fit since signing for Chelsea.
Second, I would rather sign Alex Scott for 80M instead of Guimaraes whom cannot be sold in the next years. We need to think longterm because we don't have crazy money like some.
Winning the title this season isn't guaranteed for Arsenal especially because our major players need a break. I believe our plan should be signing players who are perfect fit for the next 5 years at least.

I have watched a number of games in which Rogers played for England and frankly have seen
nothing in his repertoire to suggest that he is world class or justifies an EPL record transfer fee.
He is not currently a first string England International and is probably on a similar level to Eze.
Eze cost half what Chelsea have now paid for Rogers. The only difference is that Rogers is a
younger player at 23.
Arsenal do need to be proactive in transfer market, but if we are going to pay mega bucks it
should be to recruit a "specialist" left wing or centre forward.

Wonder if targets, especially the younger ones are passing on signing with Arsenal due to their injury history (high wages can cover many sins)
