Aaron:

"Spin it how you want, I watched the game he was injured in, the real question why was he playing lb when he mostly played on the right? The EPL is no joke and he found out real quick how hard players go into 50/50's.

Playing 2 games in your 1st year is not robust mate..

May Timber prove me wrong, would be happy about it."

I appreciate that he wishes our player well, but that was a contender for stupid comment of the month.

Listening to the podcast, I remembered the other day Omari Hutchinson was sold to Ipswich for £20m hurts.

He left, we were laughing at him, we were laughing at Chavs. Twelve months, just twelve months later, all it took was one loan. BOOM -> £15m profit and the boy will be a starting player for a Premier League club ready to make a name for himself.

How? It wouldn't have happened at Arsenal. It's gonna go in our youth players' heads. That other clubs find opportunities for their young talent.

What do we do? We've got a 25 yo Eddie who could have been a starting PL striker for 5 years and be at the level of Ollie Watkins.

We've got a soon-to-be 25 yo Reiss who had the talent to be at least as good as Anthony Gordon and was a better player 6-7 years ago to what he is today.

We're shit at finding opportunities for our youth players, we are shit at picking the right clubs to loan to, we're shit at giving chances for our youth players in our senior team, we're shit at selling at the right time, we are shit at extracting (any) value full stop.

The only couple of decent sales we've done in the last 10 years are Iwobi and Balogun.

We sold Joe Willock (decent money admittedly) to buy effin Lokonga?!

Our manager has trouble giving minutes to young players that we want to either prepare for our team or to cash in on.

The following are (supposedly) bright talents that have left this summer for free:

Amario Cozier-Duberry, Karl Hein, Reuell Walters, Kido Taylor-Hart, Catalin Cirjan, Tyreece John-Jules, Arthur Okonkwo, Mauro Bandeira.

8 players that we've heard of, bright talents with good future ahead (supposedly). Zero profit. Zilch.

You know how much Chavs already made on 3 young players - Maatsen, Hall, Hutchinson? Almost £100m. We're less than a week into the transfer window.

We've got a lot to improve on.
