Well, that was another womp womp moment from a side with nothing to play for… for SHAME Crystal Palace. Ask was always massive, but 3-0? Not happy, I’m just not happy about it.
Still, the plan was always to go for all the wins and see where it took us. Arsenal face the same listless Crystal Palace side, with 3 days to prepare for a Euro Conference final, and we have relegated and managerless Burnley at home.
Honestly, could you have two better games on paper? Not sure you could.
Also, how dreamy is it that we’ve been given 8 days to prepare for this? Arsenal players probably had 4 days away from each other. We’ll hopefully dial back the training sessions. Then, we’ll see what happens… we’ll be nervous because football is a cruel mistress… but it’d take one helluva miracle for us to slip here.
