Andrea Berta appears to be taking on a strategy of dropping bids for multiple players at once, presumably to ensure that we actually end up filling the squad gaps this summer. The story has mostly focused around competing narratives from Germany and Portugal from well-sourced folk that, yes, bids have landed for both players.
