Merry Christmas all of you. The journey has gripped me for many more years than most of you - since the 1960s. And yet just lately I have inwardly refused to be despondent on bad news. When we don’t win or lose a key player I now let it wash over me. Don’t get me wrong on match day I’m still either at the stadium or watching on TV mentally

kicking every ball. But any bad news - I am no longer going to let it get to me. Just move on until the next game.

Merry Christmas Pedro and Gooners!!!

It is indeed all about the journey and it's an emotional one as is it always is with football.

To me, as much as we are overanalysing every bump in the carpet, I know that Arteta wants to win trophies.

It is going to be difficult but I truly believe that finishing twice 2nd is not the end of the line. It surely can't be. It must be the beginning of something.

We will win some trophies and when we do, it will be glorious days to enjoy every minute of. This is why I really hope that Arteta focuses on the Carabao Cup and FA Cup this season as winning something is a needed lesson that players need to experience if we are looking at winning the bigger trophies. Success breeds success.

So, onwards and upwards The Arsenal!!! We can do it!!!
