Declan Rice via ESPN--

"The way they move between the lines was really, really smart. But once we worked out how we could beat them, we missed a few chances, but in terms of how we were driving with the ball, giving our wingers one v one opportunities, chances started to open up.

"I think tomorrow night we need to do the same. We need to have big balls and we need to go out there on the biggest stage and show that we're ready to play at this level."

Instill us to win Dec.

Well I hope that puts all the XG merchants (especially Pedro) from sprouting that nonsense again. Over the two legs Barca had a bigger xG than Inter, did it win them the game? Fk no.

I don't mind xG being used to show how many shots we will have and how much we are attacking but the way Pedro kept going on about how it will lead to increase in goals over time and win us games was just over doing it.

Throughout the entirety of Football xG has always existed, did it mean that a team would win the game if they had higher xG? If we end up 3rd in the league behind city, what does the xG stat even tell us other than being used as an agenda tool to support Arteta.

Anyone who uses the crutch or excuse of XG is thick and not worth listening to. For example, recently away at Newcastle, Palace had a superior XG. Final score? Newcastle 5 Crystal Palace 0!

A little disappointed with Barca going out as if we make the final in pretty desperate for revenge for 06 and the host of other disappointing results against them (RVP red still gives me PTSD).

Craziest, and most corrupt $h*te I have ever seen in my support of the club in a huge moment, while holding the lead!

Barca is one of the most corrupt teams. That era was riddled with corruption all around that team thinking they are so fucking entitled with breaking all the rules. Screw them. Deserve all the shit they get.

How they use to tap up Cesc and other players. cunts

I've watched the PSG game twice and the more I think of it

It wasn't a case of PSG were this extra-terrestrial team, It was more of we were having a very very bad game and they came across as looking so much better.

There's only so much you can do with a midfield of one - Odegaard was anonymous and Merino isn't cut out for that role against a team that can move the ball around quickly.

We need to score first. Not too early. PSG will shit their collective shorts.

Just hope the lads have their legs to go full bore for 90 at least.

Hope Timber somehow recovers

“Just hope their legs can go 90” Feels like we have to win it in regulation doesn’t it? Still pisses me off abt the decision to play them on Saturday.

We need balls of

steel as well. We were gassed at the 70 min mark in the first leg and I am certain that was due to a bad combination of nerves and adrenaline. Maybe someone can confirm if I’m full of shit or not but that is a bad mix in an endurance sport… the moment requires the team to remain calm. Glad I’m just a fan cause there is no way I will be!

We can’t be pussies tomorrow. We need to go pedal to the metal as soon as the ref whistles.

Also sub odegaard off after 30 minutes if he is playing shite we can’t afford passengers at this level.

I don't even want to see Ode in the XI.

PSG away when we'll be largely off ball, can't see him being at all effective.

It's legit bizarre looking at Rooney now that he's not even 40 and he was terrorising world class defenders 12-13 years ago.

He looks about 50. Sturridge looks at least 10 years younger

Well- it gives us hope tomorrow- as long as we don’t play with ‘ze handbrake on’ as a certain Mr A. Wenger once (or more) said.

We’re on half time…1-0 down…its more than doable.
