Most, media, podcasters and content creators (not Pedro) are making fools of some anxious, gullible gooners. If you look at your YouTube suggestions, every title is about Eze. Every thumbnail is a picture of him. So many people acting like he is the answer to all of our problems. I'm okay with buying him, I think he can help us in some ways. But he is not a perfect player and he is not the Messiah or the Messi....

In these past years in his prime has any other club come in with a big offer for him? I still like him but it does make you wonder a little bit.

His price is decent because he has great league experience. His age is not optimal though. We will be getting nothing back for him at the end of his tenure. I am fine with accepting that on a player like Trossard for 25m.

68m is basically like another Pepe if you HONESTLY think about it.

Another false narrative: that we need to sell first before we buy. We have the money, and we do want to make sales of course, but the reason we are taking our sweet time with this deal is because we are looking at other options, quietly. The sales will come either way even if they won't be great windfalls.

A lot of the talk about him being a perfect player for our needs is just groupthink and being whipped up by all the content creators and media.

I'm fine with getting him but it is not the amazing deal that most of you think it is.

This is why top clubs don't hire novices like we decided to do, hoping your manager in his seventh season learns the concept of rotation is fcuking ridiculous.
