It’s really hard to write about pre-season because it doesn’t mean anything… ever. The only time you can weigh in is if there are clear cultural issues. Players fighting or horrible rumblings of disunity. We don’t have those issues, we’ve just witnessed two pretty average results over two very rusty games. It’s unpleasant, no doubt, but it’s a part of the process no one remembers… bar all the fans that went to The Emirates expecting a Mexican wave and did not get to partake in such an activity. Imagine that?
